I have terribly bad feet, ankles, and legs, and a severely deteriorated spine at L4-L5. I also use a cane at all times.

These shoes, from Merrell, are just the best thing since sliced bread!!

Supportive, Solidly Constructed from Quality Materials, Rubber Soles (yea!) that stay soft and "grippy", not like the "plastic stuff" used by others!! Never Slip, Always Grip, even when wet and on tile floors.

Review of adidas Originals Men's Concord Lo CRT Sneaker

I was looking for a shoe that I could use for quick basketball games between classes. I play point guard, and prefer low cut shoes. In addition, I wanted it to be comfortable enough to walk around all day in. I'm happy to say that, surprisingly, these shoes serve my purpose.

The shoe has really good arch support, and excellent lock-in with the lace+strap combo. I was pleased to find that the laces don't extend under the strap, which means I only need to unstrap the shoe to take it off. Very convenient. The tongue is wide, well padded, and soft. The outsole is perfect for outdoor conditions, just what I need for the courts I play horse on.

What the pictures don't prepare you for, is how gleamingly white the upper is. Bright white alright. The shoes sure are easy on the eyes, especially the subtle shade of brown for the stripes and strap.

I would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for casual shoes which can be used for light sporting activities.

Review of Converse Men's Chuck Taylor Original Sneakers

"Chucks" are the only shoes that have ever existed. Ever since 1923, Chuck Taylor All-Stars have been "just a piece of rubber and canvas"- they haven't changed one bit from the sands of time. These shoes are devilishly simple, and customizable in every way. Everyone may be wearing Chucks these days, but you can still make them your own. There are so many ways- what color would you like? One of the core colors- black and white? Monochrome black? White? Red? Green? Blue? Pink? How about the latest pattern or print? Every year Converse also pumps out new seasonal colors, and different styles such as double-tongued shoes, "tear-aways", faded looking ones, everything. You can buy different color laces or you can go crazy with a Sharpie and draw up some art all over your shoes. And for something seemingly so flimsy, they're pretty durable. My shoes have withstood countless running and hitting the asphalt, games of soccer, basketball, jumping from everywhere, the basic abuse a teen can dish out to his feet. Granted, they may not be too comfortable at first, but once your feet gets used to them, well, you don't even notice you're wearing them anymore. Nevertheless, it does have some setbacks, but if you look at modern shoes, you can see the differences in design. But for something from over 3/4 of a century ago, you've got to admit they're pretty darn impressive. The skinny:

PROS

-customizable in any way- laces can be easily replaced and be done up in any pattern you wish

-look great with anything and everything; the unisex casual sneaker that will even draw you the occasional compliment from coworkers or friends.

-lightweight compared to most shoes of today

-so many colors- from your basic core colors (black, red, green, blue, white, or pink) to different designs (60s tie dye, camo, skulls, flames, etc.)

-also different kinds of shoes- from the classics to the newer double uppers, tear-aways (shoes with two layers of canvas, and some parts are already torn away to show the brighter underlayer), double-tongued, and also DIFFERENT MATERIALS like leather or suede.

CONS

-the color fades; especially in the harsh sun. My navy blue Taylors have been bleached to the color of very faded blue denim.

-the rubber parts of the shoe can get dirty rather quickly, but are easily cleanable.

-overall the shoe is pretty comfortable, but not recommended for prolonged running or a whole day on the boardwalk. It depends a lot on the shape of your foot- if your feet are flat, you'll find that these shoes are a match made in heaven. Otherwise you may have some issues, but not so bad they're unwearable.

-NOT TO BE USED AS A SKATE SHOE. Converse shoes are made from canvas, which won't give you any mercy from runaway boards, and they do NOT have adequate cushioning on the top, bottom, or sides for such an activity.

NOTE: BUY A HALF-SIZE SMALLER THAN WHAT YOU'RE AIMING FOR. That is, a Converse size 10 is, in reality, a 10 1/2. I do not think that Chucks come in half-sizes, so just compensate.

ANOTHER NOTE: If this bothers you, then you should know. Chucks are no longer manufactured in the USA. They are now outsourced to other countries, mostly China. You won't be finding lead or holes on the bottom of the shoes or anything, but Converse is now a subsidiary of Nike. In 2004, Converse went bankrupt and was purchased by Nike, a company known to use sweatshop labor to make their shoes.

These are really a nice looking shoe but they don't last .in 2 months the strings have broken and the sides have blown out. My son skates and these shoes did not preform. Cheaply made shoe for not cheap price.

Review of adidas Infant/Toddler 2g8 Wide Sneaker

My son has been wearing these shoes for about a month.We picked them partly because of the Adifit system.The way the system works is the removable footbed inserts have a marked area near the toebox.If your child's toes hit a certain point, then the shoes are the right length.If the toes exceed the point, then the shoe length is too short.The system is really clever and has made picking out the right size shoe pretty easy.

The shoes are well-made although I do wish they were just a little bit more flexible in the sole.But they are still great shoes, and we get compliments all the time about how cute my son's shoes are.We have the ones in the picture (red stripes).

Review of Converse All Star Deluxe Boots - Casual Shoes Womens

A lot more leather, a bit less mid sole and a lot more cushion than classic chuck taylors by Converse. I wish I got them in the classic black but green is a nice change of color. They do run a little large, even for converse I found just be aware. Last thing is that since they are leather they don't breath a whole lot, your feet can get sweaty. But I guess that's the price you pay for looking good.

I really like these Kangaroos.They are incredibly comfortable due to their "memory foam"insoles, which make you feel like you're walking on pillows.I love the rust/beige color combination, and the chartreuse accents are fun and unexpected.My only complaint is that the "shoelace" tightening mechanism leaves a somewhat unwieldy loop hanging out of the front of the shoe.

Review of New Balance Men's 574 Sneaker

I just purchased these shoes (the black color scheme) and have gone on two or three walks, totaling 3 or 4 hours, with them.

Like any and all New Balance shoes I have owned, they are quite comfortable. The sole provides a lot of support, and all of the materials in this shoe are soft and comfortable. The tread seems a little thin compared to some shoes, but it is not noticeable when walking, and I am thinking that it may perhaps last a tad longer than thicker but softer treads.

Compared to another pair of New Balance shoes I own, the ankle is not quite as supportive. This is something I haven't gotten used to yet, but I think is just a function of the different style and intent of this shoe model. The other pair was more "cross training," where this shoe seems aimed towards a more casual "walking" user.

Despite this difference, the price is certainly right here. $32 really can't be beat in the current market, especially with free shipping.

Review of IPATH Men's 2007

I love non-flashy shoes and that is the sole reason I chose this shoe.To me it is aesthetically great.I chose the brown hemp and for non-flashy, it is exactly what I like.The bulk of the shoe is one main color with only one other color as a highlight (on the top of the heel and the logo - not mentioning the border around the sole).The brown is a good earthy tone for those who like earthy tones.The problem (and why I only gave three stars) is because it is not comfortable.More specifically, *something* on the inside big-toe joint is poking right into that area and causing soreness and discomfort.We all know how a simple thing in regards to footwear can turn into a big thing when wearing around a shoe with a problem.This poking makes the shoes uncomfortable... I don't even wear an odd shoes size, so it's not like I had to special order to "make due" with something that doesn't quite fit.I get the impression that no-one at IPATH wore this shoe for more than a minute after the prototype was created.Maybe if you have a really narrow foot it won't bother you.I don't recommend this shoe.

Review of adidas Originals Big Kids' Superstar II Basketball Shoe

This shoe is very comfortable and true to size. I bought the first pair for my son at a local store. I wore them once and decided I wanted a pair so I went on amazon and they were $10 cheaper with free shipping. I have a small foot so Ibought them in a kids size 4.5 which is the same as a womans 6.5. I saved another $10 by doing that. I have bought 2 pairs now on amazon and love them both!!!
