A lot more leather, a bit less mid sole and a lot more cushion than classic chuck taylors by Converse. I wish I got them in the classic black but green is a nice change of color. They do run a little large, even for converse I found just be aware. Last thing is that since they are leather they don't breath a whole lot, your feet can get sweaty.
