I was looking for a shoe that I could use for quick basketball games between classes. I play point guard, and prefer low cut shoes. In addition, I wanted it to be comfortable enough to walk around all day in. I'm happy to say that, surprisingly, these shoes serve my purpose. The shoe has really good arch support, and excellent lock-in with the lace+strap combo. I was pleased to find that the laces don't extend under the strap, which means I only need to unstrap the shoe to take it off. Very convenient. The tongue is wide, well padded, and soft. The outsole is perfect for outdoor conditions, just what I need for the courts I play horse on.
What the pictures don't prepare you for, is how gleamingly white the upper is. Bright white alright. The shoes sure are easy on the eyes, especially the subtle shade of brown for the stripes and strap.
I would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking for casual shoes which can be used for light sporting activities.
