I bought these sandals to take to Cancun. I walked the beach with them, the sidewalk, in the water, both salt and chlorinated, and they were troopers! I never got blisters, or even sore spots. The straps stay on wet and are very adjustable both at the toe and ankle. All the straps are well padded. They have a bit of arch support but not over much. There's a slight heel but not so much that you have a hard time walking long distances. When this pair gives out I'll buy them again, probably in multiple colors!
